Rob Adelman, M.S.W - Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Rob Adelman has over 25 years of experience working with individuals and organizations to optimize their performance through personal and professional development.
He is a partner with Charlotte Psychotherapy and Consultation Group. There, he has a clinical private practice where he works with older children, families, couples and adults to improve life management and coping skills around attention deficit, depression, anxiety, relationship and conduct issues.
He helps teens and adults with their organizational skills and time management. He is also a life coach, helping adults with career and life transition issues.

Mr. Adelman received his M.S.W. in clinical social work from UNC-Chapel Hill. He has over 20 years of post-graduate clinical experience working with children, couples, adults and families. In addition, he served as the Clinical Director of Adolescent Inpatient Services at the Behavioral Health Services Center in Charlotte, NC.
Prior to starting his private practice in 2001, Mr. Adelman worked for 14 years with First Union National Bank (now Wells Fargo). There he was vice president for several areas of the bank including Manager for Training and Development, Director of Business Improvement and organizational consultant for several bank divisions.
He has also worked with 501C-3, human service agencies and has experience in programming, development and public policy. He was involved for over 14 years with the Council for Children where he served on the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee and has chaired or served on numerous subcommittees. He chaired the 2001 Council FORE Children golf tournament. Mr. Adelman currently serves on the Board of Anuvia Prevention & Recovery Center where he chairs the Clinical Services Committee.
